Billing Issues

Posted on 21. May, 2010 by in Blog

Hey everyone!

I wanted to let you know that we are doing an audit of all accounts closed since March. Why? Well, it has come to our attention that Paypal has been billing accounts that we thought (and you thought) were closed! That really sucks! So we’re working fast and furiously to find everyone who was over billed, get them refunds, and make sure Paypal doesn’t bill them again.

We want happy customers, so we are working hard to fix this. Thanks for your patience and understanding. If you have any questions, you can reach us here: support at afstriper .com

Just Checking In

This week was a little bumpy. We had some issues with our sign up page. A number of users sent us feedback telling us they were unable to enter their birth dates and therefore couldn’t sign up. To prevent us from having this problem in the future we got rid of birth date input altogether. So while the signup page is shorter, we will no longer be able to send out birthday greetings. :(

On another note, our community is really growing. Thanks for all of the great feedback you’ve been sending in. It has really helped us improve AFStriper by leaps and bounds the last couple of months. Keep it coming!

System Update (1.11.10)

Posted on 11. Jan, 2010 by in Blog, Twitter

We made it to the New Year! I’m kidding, we knew we would! AFStriper is doing great. Our community more than quadrupled in size during December. It’s good to see people responding so positively to our product.

As always, our database of questions is still growing. We are continuing to not only add questions, but also improve the helpfulness of the feedback. Speaking of feedback, I’d like to thank all of those Stripers that are sending us feedback. Your input is key to making AFStriper great.

Last, but not least, what do you all think about all of our new blog posts? Our original idea was to have a sister site where we could put these kinds of posts and then just keep the AFStriper blog focused on system updates. Then we decided to just keep everything centralized. What do you think? Do you like one site with both free and premium study tools, or would you prefer to keep everything separated?

Please share your opinion below.

System Update (12.21.09)

I’m really excited to report that our user base is growing! I’m glad that people are seeing the value in what we’re trying to do here. If you like what we’re doing, let us know! We’re looking to get some user reviews up on the site.

Which brings me another point: 10,000!! Yes, last week we officially served up over 10,000 PDG quiz questions since we launched! So we’re issuing a little challenge to ourselves AND our users: Serve up 1,000,000 questions by June 1st, 2010. Yikes! I know it’s a big goal, but if you’re gonna be a bear, be a grizzly.

As usual we’re still adding questions to our database, thanks for everyone for the feedback we’ve been getting on those. Our goal is definitely quality over quantity, because we want the time you spend here to be quality study time.

Lastly, what can we do to help you? What areas of the PDG do you struggle with? Let us know, so that we can develop tools to help you.
