We’re Kicking It Up a Notch

Starting this week, we’re going to be blogging Monday through Friday. We’re going to cover pubs mentioned in the PDG, acronyms, and even study tips to help you pass your promotion test!

So please check back often or subscribe to our RSS feed, because you are bound to get at least one morsel of useful information.

New Feature: Acronym Attack!!

Everyone is so busy these days it can be hard to find time to study. We get that. So to try and help those who are time-challenged, we created AFStriper’s PDG Acronym Attack.

Acronym Attack is free for everyone to use and you can find it on our homepage. There are just over 550 acronyms so maybe every Monday you can study A-D acronyms, on Tuesdays you can look at E through L, and so on. By the time your promotion test rolls around, you’ll be good to go.

Let us know if you think we can make Acronym Attack better!

…. Acronym Attack is kinda long….maybe we should nickname it “AcAttack”….more on that later.

AFStriper is growing every day! The more members we get in our community, the more representative the stats will be. The more representative the stats, the better you’ll be able to assess if you have done enough to get promoted.

So spread the word, and if you’re a “yellow-stater” sign up already! We need you.

Pardon the Dust

I just wanted you all to know that we are constantly working to improve the site. If you see any weird snippets of code on your screen, we apologize, we are always tweaking things here and there. If you see anything weird, shoot us an email and we’ll fix it.

We are a small team of only three people, but as I’ve said before we’re committed to making this site the best it can be. So pardon our dust while we move and tweak things.

Here are a few things we’re working on:
- Adding more questions
- Adding more flash cards
- Inserting images and figures into the chapter text

What else do you think we could use some improvement?
